Our activities on the theme : Fisheries

Fishery is the orphan sector of the agricultural system in Benin. It receives limited investment and is under-researched despite it provides livelihoods to more than 300,000 people and has a high potential to contribute to food and nutritional security

ACED’s work consists of generating sector-specific evidence to support decision-making. We help fishing communities to address the challenges of the sector, improve their resilience and level of food and nutrition security, and strengthen their livelihoods.

Our Fishing Events

ACED regularly organizes and participates in multi-stakeholder events that promote dialogue, co-creation of knowledge and identification of solutions.
